We got married at Domaine de Valmouriane at the start of September, and the whole experience was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, set in very peaceful grounds 4kms outside of Saint Remy, and the owner, Philippe, couldn't have been more helpful. He is a passionate foodie, and did us proud with a magnificent wedding dinner for 75 people, and... More

We did not stay here but pitched up for dinner mid week. It is in an isolated but idyllic setting down the D27 from St Remy, and surrounded by hills, rocky outcrops and pine trees. The lawns, garden and swimming pool are well kept and the main house has a 1930's country house look. It is so quiet apart from... More

We stayed there two night during a short holiday in Provence. The best is really the location. It is a bit hidden on a little street but very close to all the main sites in this region. We really loved the setting and enjoyed also the swimmingpool a lot. A bit disappointing was the price. The rooms were very expensive... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and couldn't have been happier with this wonderful inn. The grounds are lovely; the room spacious, clean, charmingly appointed, and quiet; the restaurant ambiance fabulous (food a little hit and miss, but the wonderful terrace in the evening makes up for it); and the staff very helpful. I accidentally left behind something expensive... More

Stayed here for 2 days on our honeymoon. Biggest negative is that it is hard to find - punching the address into my GPS did not lead me there! Make sure you download the directions from their website. Also, note that you are not in St. Remy - you will need to drive into town (although it is not a... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely country inn outside the town of St-Remy-de-Provence. The accomodations were charming and quite large for France. The staff could not have been friendlier! We enjoyed our cooking class with Chef Pascal, followed by a beautifully presented luncheon (the fruits of our labor) served in the dining room by the staff.... More

I stayed at this boutique hotel in early September as part of a group of individuals taking cooking lessons. I have to disagree with others who have reviewed this location in a negative light. I found the staff to be accessible, friendly and helpful. The owners are engaging and very passionate about their property and they couldn't do enough for... More

Recently stayed for 3 nights at the Valmouriane. I think the previous reviewer had it right on. The hotel thinks it is much more than it really is. The service was indifferent and unhelpful. They are well outside of St. Remy (the nearest town), but had no maps or directions for getting to town or back, and the receptionist gave... More

Don’t get me wrong, in spite of the title I’ve given this we still enjoyed our stay although it was only for one night. The hotel was nice looking and typical of the region with its sage green shutters and courtyard garden. We felt that our room was rather tired and could definitely do with a face lift i.e. the... This is a lovely property situated in the countryside and very peaceful with lovely grounds. The proprietors are lovely and could not do enough for you. Rooms are an excellent size and the bathroom we had was modern and well appointed. BUT this hotel has pretensions that it doesn't quite meet up to - we had a very good deal... More
