Stayed here on a corporate retreat for 2 nights. The hotel is quite charming, with classical Alps would panelling throughout. I don't know the Hotel Le Fer à Cheval, but the restaurant is a disaster ! French arrogance, poor service, food not fresh. It means below average. Mediocre. It was a very bad surprise, because this restaurant was presented as the place " you have to be" in Megève.

I just passed a spontaneously wonderful weekend to resource in the mountains with friends and family at Le Fer a Cheval. The whole experience was positive in all categories. I look forward to going back in the winter.

My daughter and I were looking for a 4 or 5 stars Hotel in Megève, which could let us enjoy its SPA, heated pool, sauna and hammam area. Expensive (as everything in Megève), but excellent spa services. Greeting staff very friendly and treatment personel very professional and knowledgeable. This is where to go for that special smile, not so easy to find in this part of the French Alps!

I have stayed at this hotel for over six times in summer and winter and I have never been disappointed. The breakfast is wonderful the staff are very kind and are very willing to tend to your services. The rooms are very cosy and beautifully decorated with alpine charm and the bathroom is beautiful. This has become my second home.
