Hotel staff, the restaurant, and the location across from the train station was perfect. We were able to obtain train info at the hotel as well as the train station operators. People at the train station were very helpful. We trained to Laupheim where we met a person named Sabine who took us where my ancestors are buried (1750-1909) to my... More

"Am Schlossgarten" is at the best location in Stuttgart - just on top of the Königsstrasse, perfect for shopping - we expected a good service (for that costs....) and we got what we expected. The rooms are perfect clean every time we stay there - no matter if you got the suite or the standard room. Personal is skilled and... More

We did not know what to expect of this hotel and from the outside it does not look anything very special.....however, inside it is wonderful. We had an end room overlooking the park and even a small balcony. The service was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean. I enjoy all the little extras such as the robe and slippers,... More

Dear lasvegas-marmalade, Thank you for finding such nice words to tell us about your stay with us. We are very happy that you had a good time. Our hotel is a listed building, so we are unable to change the facade at all. But the way you have described our interior makes us look forward to welcoming you back at... More

Stayed here for two nights in a single room whilst on a business trip in November. Good hotel in a good location. The room was clean and well appointed, and although I only had breakfast in the hotel, the food was good and staff offered fried eggs and bacon if you wanted it. Overall the service was excellent and I... More

Stayed at the Schlossgarten hotel for a week during the early part of November. This was my 4th stay here and in 2010 the hotel was being rennovated. The upgrade is finished and what you have now is a beautiful, stylish with quality rooms. Mine was facing the shopping area, and the room was large, comfortable and modern. The location... More

I stayed at the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten for three nights bridging the gap between moving out of my Stuttgart apartment and moving to another country. I had a single room, for 120 EUR per night (breakfast not included). I chose this hotel for its great location in the city center, and because they allow pets for a nominal extra... More

I didn't know this hotel was part of one of those luxurious Althoff hotel collection - I always thought that the Althoff chain was always about turning European castles into luxurious hotels. Anyway the reason for that is that the Am Schlossgarten is modern rather than ye olde. When you draw up to the hotel, you think what's with the... More

One of the most important reasons I booked this hotel was its location across the street from the main train station, because my daugher and I were traveling by train. You can reach the hotel through an underground passage via escalators on both sides of the street. The hotel is located at the beginning of an enormous pedestrian shopping area,... More
