Spent three nights at this hotel in August, 2011. Hotel is a 5-minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to Marienplatz. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly - even providing band-aids for our blisters! All spoke English well. Our room was large and clean. Firstly the hotel is right opposite the main railway station and on a pedestrian strip, therefore knowing the location you would expect noise - as you simply cant have the central location but no noise.
