It was not the first time I stayed at Etap (now Ibis Budget). This hotel didn't even meet the bare-boned criteria of Etap. Room and toilet had a terrible smell. Bed was uncomfortably high and a door in the corridor closed with a bang each time someone passed through.

Hotel is in principle OK. But we had booked via Accor Hotels where we have bonus points, and bonus checkes, also valid at Ibis Hotels, but "Surprise": This was not an Ibis but an Ibis BUDGET, so they do not aknowledge the Accor system!!?? Good for business trips, and if you are very careful with your travel budget. Located in the outskirts of Wurzburg, free parking is a plus. You can take the bus to the old town; bus station's very close.
