We stayed at the Hilton Berlin over Christmas and had a great time. Location is great, at Gendarmenmarkt (there was a Christmas market now). U-bahn close by and in walking distance of Unter den Linden, Brandenburger Tor and Alexanderplatz. Room was nice, bit somber colours though. That was also in the corridors, didn't feel very fresh.
