Arrived in a very cold Berlin on the 22nd of Feb 2013. Took the train too Ostbhanhof (€3.10). The Intercity Hotel is situated directly next door too the station which also houses a large shopping centres full of local eateries and 2 very cheap supermarkets. The hotel is right in the station and just so convenient for getting around. I had a second floor room at the front but found it was not noisy and had everything I needed at a very reasonable price. The front desk are really helpful and the cleaning was efficient. I shall return here!

Good hotel near to airport, little expensive. Rooms are cleaned and comfortable. Supermarket Lidl is about 5 min by car. Small bufet with piza, soop and next fast food is about 10min by walk next to S-bahn and bus station.

The greatest fracture of this hotel is the location and the free transit card in all the DB line. However if you are An. Internet addict like myself forget it.. We checked in and the staff were very friendly and answered all our questions confidently. The hotel is quite old and the rooms are very basic. Staying at the IC Hotels you get free train and bus travel while you stay, so being above the Main Station helps when getting around. I would stay at the hotel again.
