Even though this hotel isn't in the centre of Berlin, there is a metro station at the bottom of the road (10 minute walk) which takes you straight to the centre. (20 minute ride). We paid through booking.com, got an absolute bargain. Never had any problems, staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were clean.

Me and my wife stayed here in march 2013. We payed £75 for 3 nights stay. Breakfast not included, this was 6.50 euros per person each day. The room is to a good standard. Clean and comfortable. But a bit of the track from public transport. 15 min. walk to u-Bahn. Close to the Stasi museum. 24 hour check-in and out. Polite staff. Old tv and no waterboiler - If those things matter to you. Plenty of groucery shops nearby.
