Well located, nice food, friendly and clean. Close to the main shopping area, zoo and tube network. Staff were friendly and helpful and had a lovely stay. We used it for a short break in December and would happily do the same again. More

Stayed in a very reasonably priced, very large one bedroom apartment in the tower block with superb views over Berlin. Good for business or sight seeing trips. Easy route to Shonfeld airport. However, it feels like it is placed in the middle of china quarter - food, massages etc. late evening walk wasn't comfy - the street is lighted poorly and hookers in dark corners . More

Amazingly, being the former DDR, the staff speak excellent English as oppose to some service staff I met in 'west Germany'. The breakfast is of superb quality, staff were happy to serve me my regular double espresso without extra charge. Room windows can be opened, so on a warm day, the fresh air is really nice. More

Sylter Hof Berlin is quite basic hotel with clean rooms and a new bathroom. I stayed here alone and at least the room for 1 person was ok size.
