My impressions of Memphis are ambivalent. Positive is the reception that was very friendly and competent. Nor, of course, is that a car park is available (10 euros per day). Negative is that the room is very small and has seen better days. Tip: Choose rooms can to the backyard, because the rooms to the main road can be noisy.

The Memphis Hotel in Frankfurt Hotel is a typical trainstation hotel. It is located fairly central in a busy road, about 500 meters from Central Station. I was housed in a single room. The bed looked used, the bathroom smelled a bit grumpy. For a short night without major claims it is OK, but not for more.

This is a small hotel in not the greatest neighborhood, but just half a block from Willy-Brandt-Platz, so it's on the border. Clean, comfortable, staff was lovely, very near to the subway and trams. I was very happy with my choice to stay here.
