The hotel Kasseler Hof is located not far from the train station and the city center of Göttingen. I found it very good for a business trip: essential but clean, with a very good breakfast. There is also a restaurant, but it is closed on Mondays. My room was large enough, and wireless connection was available for free.

Don't get me wrong, this place was a decent stay and had free parking, but wow, my jaw dropped when I saw the room. Clearly not updated since oh, say, 1982.
