We had a lovely stay here. It was a great location, right next to the river and a short walk to the old town. The room was lovely and very clean. The staff were brilliant. So helpful before and during our trip. More

First impressions were not good as the welcome was underwhelming to say the least the receptionist had "grumpy" down to a fine art, we then had to climb the 3 floors to our room (no lifts) but thankfully there is a luggage lift (of the dumb waiter type) things began to pick up, the room was v clean & big... Great location - just 5 minute walk from Kolner Dom. Very clean and spacious room with a huge shower. Breakfast was a selection of old meats and cheeses which was ok and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if we went back to Cologne. More

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed every aspect. The staff were incredibly helpful and Marcus suggested places for us to eat - each of which was perfect. The rooms are modern and "hip". Our room had a view of the top of the Dom, which made it very special. I sat each morning at the long desk under... More

Well, perhaps my expectations were too high? I don't know, but words like "stylish" or "sleek" or anything like that simply do not apply here, don't let anyone tell you differently. It is a modest, quaint, old fashioned place, nice in that way. Small-ish. Basic. Very basic. The breakfast was extremely basic, my least favorite of my three-week vacation. We... More

Casa Colonia is so stylish and sleek! And in a great location that is a 15-min walk to everything but still quiet. We loved it! We had a large, king room. The breakfast buffet was nice and easy. Marcus gave us the BEST advice about local "in the know" places to eat and every place we tried was 120% delicious.... More

I've stayed for 3 nights and it was not exactly what my friends and I expected in the first place. If you look in the website, it looks really nice however when you get there, you will realise pretty soon that it is overprice for the quality&standards of the rooms. The bathroom was over-flowed of water as the shower was... More

Great place to stay, so we stayed here again on our way back west. They had the best breakfast of our 6 country trip. Also, they put us onto the most "local" place to eat of our trip. I can't remember the name, but it was about 8 blocks away and had beer in wooden kegs, pigs knuckles, and a... More

Great location - just 5 minute walk from Kolner Dom. Very elegant and comfortable. Spacious rooms, new bathroom facilities. Very clean. It is positioned as a designer hotel, and Casa Colonia really gives you that feeling. Excellent breakfast, friendly stuff. Summarizing - very good and pleasant stay! More

I used to spend every other weekend in Cologne and always hoped to get a room in Casa Colonia! This time my parents stayed there and found it just as charming and inviting as I always did. The owners, a young couple renovated the rooms in a very simple & tasteful style. It’ located in the centre (near the station... More
