From being assigned to the topmost floor and then being told that the lift was broken (that's 7 flights of stairs up for the entire weekend) to coming out of the shower and drying off with a towel festooned with large smears of toothpaste from the previous occupant, this place is a dump. Hotel was fairly basic, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is self service buffet style. Lift was being repaired for 2 nights of our 4 night stop, so staying on floor 4 it wasn't, ideal. Location is excellent within walking distance of the main station with nearby access to a variety of bars and restaurants.

We just stayed at this hotel mob-thurs in a queen size room number 35. The room was decent but basic BUT the bad was pushed up against a wall so one person had to climb over the other to get in and out if bed-not good. Recently stayed at the Centrum Hotel Plaza, staff are very friendly, however the location is a nightmare if you are in one of the front rooms, the road noise until about 3am is unbearable and they also have a small cafe next door open until early hours of the morning, with a lot of shouting, talking and cars stopping etc.... If you're looking for the Ritz you won't find it here but you will find a nice clean, cozy hotel. Our room was spacious enough the tv was great and it was nice having free wifi. This is a simple and clean hotel very close to Dusseldorf main station. The room was clean and big, with flat screen TV, bath with shower, big bed, comfortable pillows. The elevator is old and can reach only 5th floor, if you have big suitcases, do not accept the 6th floor rooms because you will need to climb some stairs.... More

Located in 3 min walking from railway station. Quite old. Dirty wallpapers. Friendly staff. Very soft beds.
