We stayed there for one night while visiting Dresden on our way to Berlin. The hotel is a bit outside the center, but still in walking distance - meaning it takes about 15-20 mins to reach the center on foot, if you do not want to spring or wait for the direct bus. At 60 EUR a night, it was... More

Its a nice hotel for budget lovers.Although it says a business hotel, the room is so small.Bathroom is clean but again small. The wi-fi codes are given on a daily basis and if you reside on higher floors it can often get disconnected.Never bothered to try the breakfast but heard its good especially for the non vegan lot.The hotel was located... A very typical budget hotel like the uks travelodges in the suburbs of dresden. It has underground parking and is only a couple of very short bus stops from the centre. It also did a very fine breakfast buffet, however no air con in the relatively small rooms & you had to pay for wi-fi. Ok for a business or... More

We came there for a conference in Dresden University – and decided to walk from main station. The walkway isn't the best you imagine, I recommend taking a cab or a bus – but still, you get there using your own two feet within about 20 min. Don't expect a fancy designer lobby, but as the whole hotel, it's clean,... More

I was looking for a resonably priced hotel within walking distance to the Central Rail Station. It is approximately a 10 minute walk from the bahnhof but in the opposite direction of Dresden's attractions. The room was spartan, with a small tv, desk and two single beds but more than adequate for solo traveller. The toilet with shower was simple... More

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, a good value for the price. The neighborhood was a bit out from the city center, but nothing terrible. More

We stayed here 4 nights, and were very happy with the room (clean and reasonably sized) and the price. From the train station, it was probably a 15 minute (mostly uphill) walk to get to the hotel, which was a little bit hard going through the dreary DDR buildings of the neighborhood. The hotel is situated close to university apartments,... More

A family of three stayed for two nights to tour the old city. While its more than a 10 minute walk to the city - its not too much more. The two rooms are ideal for a family; free limited access to the internet in the foyer. Breakfast was ok, and I appreciated the free parking particularly. The brewery bar... More

An update in English on the ACHAT may be helpful. We stayed for 4 nights in April 2008 to see the city and hear the opera. The hotel is still excellent value for money – one of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in. It is comfortable, clean, efficient and quiet with helpful staff and a good atmosphere.... More
