Staff is friendly and mostly English-speaking. Room was for 1 person, but was really large with 2 beds. Really big wardrobe with different size shelves. Room and bathroom was very clean. Nice hotel, located in downtown, near Die Grune Zitadelle, The Dome and even near some stores City Center (Kaufland, etc.). Walking distance from the train station. Very good value for the accomodations oferred. Clean and convenient, most of personnel speaking english and/or other languages. Having a garage underground (18 euros / night). Stayed here on business. The hotel was very large and had a huge beautiful Atrium (one of the tallest in Europe I am told). It was just before Christmas and there was a huge tall pine tree decorated in the atrium..this thing had to be 50 feet high! Very impressive. Both from outside and in this could be the set for the film, "I, Robot." Once past that the superior single room was excellent. Attractive, clean and with most of the reasonable security features. Spacious room offers two lounge chairs, table plus fine storage space. Hotel caters to large conventions but is able to seclude other guests from all that.... More

As I said a Maritim. Very good location, good food (breakfast and dinner), nice people and good service, clean rooms, but the room could be a little nicer, the way to the garage a little more friendly and the place (January) more warmer. I staid there just a night for a meting and conference. Good place for a conference!

Hotel Maritim is a centraally located big hotel. The hotel interieur resembles a big cruiseship with a large upward open reception area. The rooms were clean, typical 4 star standards well filled.
