Great location literally across the road from the beach (although if you head left out of the hostel and walk for about 20 minutes, there is a much nicer stretch of beach with loads of restaurants). We didn't really venture into the city so location slightly outside the centre was great, only a short bus journey if you want to... More

Malaga was the first stop during our Euro-trip during November. And this hostel literally is the best one we have stayed in during that trip. All u need to get to the beach is to cross the road - imagine the view from the window (the best one is from the room on the second floor, and if u can... More

First of: the staff at this beachside hostel is amazing. You feel like one of the family and the common area, both inside and outside are big compared to other hostels. At this hostel you meet friendly travelers from all around the world and it's very easy to make friends. There is a pub crawl arranged every night and it's... More

The Melting Pot is one of the warmest hostels I have stayed at. The main man, Jorge, is a very welcoming fellow. He really makes you feel like one of his family, particualrly at dinner time when he cooks everyone dinner for 7 euros ( a massive feast, with lots of meat - awesome for someone who struggles to fill... I've stayed in Melting pot Malaga and it was great! Stuff is really nice, friendly almost family ambient and right at the beach (well you need to spend minute and a half to get to the beach)! Big open air terrace where you can meet people from everywhere, or sunbathe, or have home cooked dinners for just 7 Euros and... More

This hostel is great! Nice staff, clean bathrooms, plenty of space to hang out, good drink offers, good food. The location is a bit far from the city centre but easily accessible by bus and walking. The hostel is 2 minutes from the beach so it's perfect. Could not say anything bad about this place. If I travel with friends... More

Spent the night a couple nights ago in the Melting Pot hostel in Malaga. While the hostel is right across the road from the beach, unlike the photos on hostelworld lead you to believe (a couple of chairs on the sand in the beach), it is not actually right on the beach, in fact due to the high fence, you... The hostel has a huge terrace where every body hang out so it is really good to meet people. It is not close to the city center but it is just across the street from the beautiful beach so it really worth it. There are quite cheap evening dinners evrry day which are very good. My only problem was that... More
