The Casa Morisca is well-situated to visit the Alhambra or to explore the Albaycin, although about a fiteen-twenty minute walk from the center of the city. The rooms of the Casa Morisca surround an interior courtyard with a fountain - despite being on the street side of the hotel, our room was very quiet, spacious and had an exceptionally comfortable... more

I'll get the negatives out of the road first ... its a long walk (25 mins or so) to any half decent eating places, and to catch a bus to the Alhambra. And parking is very limited. But this hotel is very cozy and clean. Lovely breakfast area. Staff very helpful and speak excellent English. Get a room facing outward... more

Maybe it's because we came straight form Morocco with its charming riads, but somehow this felt like the Sheraton Inn. Our room (okay, I admit it was the lowest price category) was tiny, clean, furnished in what I guess can be perceived as "traditional" but without any personal touch, and faced the inside walkway with no privacy unless we closed... more

The hotel is very difficult to find if driving on your own -- best reached by taxi. Otherwise, location is superb. Can't beat the views and location. Easily walkable to Al Hambra, shops and restaurants. Very quite hotel, with excellent rooms. While probably the best hotel in Granada, didn't particularly appreciate racial assumptions made by the front desk staff. This... more

We made a tour of Andalusia with our two older children and this hotel was the only one we booked directly not using bookings.com or expedia. It showed up beeing the biggest mistake. These guys quote you a price without VAT ( its 7% in Spain, but anyhow..) and trey charge you for breakfast 9,- Euros a person for literally... more

Glorious building. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Get a street map of Granada to help with hotel directions. Park car and use frequent buses - 100 mts to bus stop. Breakfast adequate but I would rather be at this hotel than some luxury one serving a full English! more

It doesn't matter what your Satnav or the hotel direction say, you are going to get lost, but bare with it, the hotel is superb value. Great location, great value, excellent staff. You cant go wrong with the location, its just where you need to be, parking right at the hotel which is of a premium in the old city.... more

My husband and I just came from a 1 night stay at the Casa Morisca on our 1 week trip through Spain. This is a lovely boutique hotel with the charm of the historic nature of this 15th century building. The room we had was an inward facing room - with a window out to the inner courtyard. The room... more

My husband and I stayed at the Casa Morisca for two nights in April. After a harrowing drive to the hotel through narrow streets filled with pedestrians, we were relieved to find that there was a parking space saved for us just outside the door. We checked in without issue. The front desk staff was professional/perfunctory. We stayed in a... more
