The Melia chain in Europe is very variable. This hotel is conveniently located, right across the street from El Corte Ingles, and provides easy accessibility (within walking distance of the Alcazar). The hotel itself is nondescript, needs an update, and felt very impersonal. There is a charge for the internet, the workout room is a joke. The standard room size... More

Visited this hotel for a city break with a friend. Loved Seville and this hotel was perfect, central location - short walk into the centre where all the tapas bars and sights were, lots of little cafes to eat very near by due to the hotel's proximity to the university. Our room was lovely, well furnished, great bathroom and balcony... More

When you look at the hotel from the outside, you just wonder what you are doing here. The facade of the building is crrepy. White old paint, old look building, you wonder what you're going to find inside. I had a Melia Room, th cheap one. King bed is a real King. The bathroom has a seperate bath and tub,... More

This is the second time I visit this hotel in 20 years. Set in a dull building, within 10 to 15 minutes walking from the Cathedral, but close to a tram stop if you don't fancy walking at all. This means the hotel is not a "charming boutique hotel" in the old town, with a view to the Giralda tower.... More

We had high hopes after hearing such great things about Sevilla. I think that my choice of a hotel was a contributing factor to our disappointment. It's location was not ideal, which could be dealt with but for the fact that the hotel was so large and vacant that you felt isolated. The hallways had an odor to them, and... More

The staff was not friendly, the location wasn't great, and they screw you on little charges. I tried to make a reservation for a flamenco show from the hotel by calling a local number and got charged $20 per attempt. I never even talked to anyone, and was charged $40 for my 2 attempted calls... what a joke! More

The location, even if not in the historical center, was easy to reach by public transport. The view of the Plaza de España from the room, something you can get used to. The rooms were celam, modern and with plenty of space. I stayed at the Level and the service was the best I received while travelling in Spain. Statyed... More

The hotel was easy to reach by public transport, maybe 10 min on foot from where the airport bus left me around Plaza D'Espagna. Behind the hotel, maybe 3 minutes on foot, there is the tram stop that takes you straight to the city center where all the musea, cathedral, etc, are. Make sure you have small change because you... Melia Sevilla is a perfect logging experience while in Sevilla. Close to the airport (20 minutes?, cab was 25 Euros), walking distance (15-20 min) from the Old Town, immaculate, clean, modern, posh. Rooms are small, it is the European way, fancy bathrooms, sliding doors, big lighted closet. (It is my experience with American tourists, that the more critical they are,... More
