Great open-air lobby. Bought a few bottles of their homemade wine which is a tasty treat. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms are very "Seville". We got lost like 50 times walking around looking for the hotel but that's all part of the charm. Also, the hotel front doors open up to a somewhat busy alley which we affectionately called... More

We (my wife and myself) stayed at the Abanico, Seville in January 2012 for two nights. The Abanico was lovely. Great location in that it was central to most of the sights, in a safe area (all of Seville seemed really safe to me btw), close to some nice local (not touristy) and friendly bars/cafes and so on. If you... More

it's a nice place. the family room we had (2 adults+2 teenagers) was nice and spacious. I didn't like the central controled A/C and therefor not beeing able to set the temprature I wanted to have, but it worked ok. the patio/lobby is a beautiful tranquile place, comfortable armchairs. together with the free cafiteria it provided the early morning types... Until 9am the morning of our departure this hotel was pretty hard to fault. It's beautifully decorated and calls to mind a Moroccan riad. The adorable man on reception insisted on whipping out a map and bombarding us with tourist info and top tips despite our only staying for one night. His recommendation for dinner was spot on. However everything... More

Stayed for a long weekend and this hotel was spot on. In a great central location and full of character. Service friendly and helpful - gave us a map and directions unprompted. Room and bathroom very clean and cleaned daily. Seville was absolutely gorgeous and would love to go back - if we did, we would definately try and use... More

This hotel was very cute and quaint and most of all, welcoming. When we arrived, the front desk person was very helpful and got out a map for us right away. He gave us recommendations on where to go to eat and things to see, which were right on. The hotel room was a good size and comfortable. The only... More

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was great - the guy at the front desk was genuinely friendly and I was impressed that he spoke so many languages and could communicate with every guest that walked thru. The room was tiny but very charming in its simplicity and quaintness. This was the ONLY bed in all of our Spain... More

Had prebooked three nights with the hotel website - a double room at €90/night Bed & Breakfast, although I see other reviewers had managed to get rooms at €50/night. As we had an upstairs room at the back of the hotel, with a small window opening into a small service area with no sight of the outside world, and an... More

Last week myself and three more mature ladies visited the Abanico hotel for two nights and we were not disappointed. It has been kept in a traditional manner and the decor is superb. The rooms were clean and well appointed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is also coffee and other drinks available all day until 10 pm. The... More
