Nice staff who spoke good English and had some good advice on places to visit. We had a room on the ground floor, which was quite big but very cold (despite the heater being left on) and being right next to reception it was very noisy, especially when they set up for breakfast early morning.

We had two separate bookings for consecutive nights (ie. different rooms) they insisted we pay for BOTH bookings and made us leave to get cash out instead of allowing us to pay for the second booking on the following day. The hostel is in a convenient place, though hard to find. The rooms are small, but adequate, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions, and are available 24 hrs. The breakfast area is very small; it's much easier to grab a bite in one of the many places to eat nearby.

Rooms were average, location perfect. Breakfast was forgettable but great places to have coffee close by. Expensive compared to hostels in other places. But hard to beat the friendliness of the staff and 24 hour desk.
