Zaragoza as a city is just average by Spanish standards, the hotel is good though. For EUR 50 - it has everything you would expect in a 4 star. More

Located in the heart of the city with nice clean and spacious rooms. It was a more than suitable hotel our two night stay in Zaragoza, and very good value for money. More

This is a pleasant older hotel with good modern amenities located in the centre of the old city, within walking distance of all major attractions. The staff were efficient and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. The only problem we had was that our two rooms were located overlooking a side street which unfortunately housed the bar from hell on... More

We had to find this hotel by car - dont do it! All one way streets. Hotel was very nice and reasonably priced. Very close to everything. Rooms were average size with a nice bathroom. Our room was a bit noisy at night with a neighbour in a close by apartment ( not in the hotel) having a party. Modern... More

Stayed the evening of September 24, 2011, and was pleasantly surprised. We had the junior suite, room 12, and loved it. Great hallway, marble bath, fold-out couch, desk, and american-style king bed. Recommend rooms 11 and 12 on the first floor, located in a quiet, historic area of the hotel off by themselves. Great price for the value received, and... More

I was very happy with my stay at the Catalonia El Pilar. The location is very close to the main plaza, as well as to the local buses. Comfortable bed, clean room, good a/c, helpful staff, and a very reasonable price. Would return again in a heartbeat! More

This hotel is in a perfect position to visit the beautiful city of Zaragoza. Reception staff were very welcoming and the room was comfortable and quiet. We had a view of the Basilica which was only 2 minutes walk away. The other big plus is the free WiFi throughout the whole hotel - why don't other hotels provide this excellent... More
