I stayed two days in this hotel. Location of the hotel is wonderful. From the top of the mount in the yours room you can see all city San Sebastian or Atlantic ocean. You can use funicular to go in the city or came back in the hotel or go walking by road and see splendid views. Restaurant is good.... More

This hotel is all about the location! It overlooks the town of San Sebastian and ithe view is simply stunning, especially at night when all the lights come on. It is a bit tricky to get to, and up a long winding road. You have to go through a gate to get to a sort of national park and they... More

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is situated on top of a hill and fairly remote from the old city and the beaches. However the vistas are truly indescribable; I've never seen anything like them. More

Only stayed en route from Bilbao ferry to Val D'Aran -but we will be back. Fantastic views. Excellent food - especially fresh fish and seafood. Pleasant staff. Excellent room. Impossible to fault. Thoroughly recommended. More

The views are stupendous from the lobby, the rooms, the restaurant...even the parking lot. As a result, perhaps nothing else should matter. But there are lots of things about this hotel that don't work very well. The staff is professional and acommodating, but the decor is dated. The entire facility needs a refresh. Even some minor changes could improve things... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location on the top of a cliff overlooking San Sebastian. Our room had a balcony that looked over the bay to the old town.the reception staff were very helpful. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was below average; the hot food was lukewarm and not well cooked. Also there... More

We arrived in San Sebastian on a Wednesday and after getting off the bus at funicular plaza, we found the funicular closed. There didn't seem to be any other way off getting to our hotel other then lugging our luggage all the way to the top off the mountain by foot. This was very dangerous as it is very windy... More

San Sebastian was full of surprises for us. We had been on a fabulous wine and gourmet tour of La Rioja region and our stay at the Mercure in San Sebastian was for some R&R before we went home. The situation of the hotel is fabulous and the views of the bay and the sea really have to be seen!... More
