I have spent three nights in Hostal Goya, which is a rather hotel-like establishment that sports a convenient location, spacious, nicely equipped rooms and, reportedly, a 24-hour Reception — while I wouldn't bet on the latter, I recall seeing someone at the desk around 1:30 am, which is not a regular occasion in a hostel. “Good value, clean, nice room”

On a busy road, but the two of us had a big room and slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Away from the tourist area but an easy walk, and close to local bars and restaurants.

While it is an okay place, we had a problem with air conditioning. We booked with Infohostal, a site that books hostales in Spain. On the site, it said there was air conditioning in "the rooms".
