We were booked into this hotel by the travel agent, who arranged our holiday in five Spanish cities. We had a small, clean, well furnished and comfortable room, with a safe but no coffee/tea making facility. The toiletries, like those in the other NH hotel we stayed at in Madrid, were eco friendly, smelling of apples and oranges. Sometimes I...

The Hotel itself was a good price, and only 2 metro stops from the Rambla, however the food ordered was of poor quality for the price paid, such as a chicken ceaser salad did not have any chicken in. The only other problem we had was from a phonecall we made to the uk, In the price lists it stated...

Train goes direct to Plaza Catalunya. We felt that it was convenient and yet away from the noise along La Ramblas. Wifi is free at the lobby. The only drawback was the lack of a kettle in the room and the cafe closes by noon.
Based on cost and location, we would probably stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the hotel, as I was expecting a lot less.
The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I stayed On the first floor. Not only did I have my own balcony, I had a separate study room!! The room was very spacious, clean, separate bathroom with a bath.
Even though the room was...

We opted for NH Hotel's Weekend Extender promotion that included late Sunday checkout, free mini bar and free breakfast. The Condor was situated close to the #58 bus stop that would get us to Placa Catalunya in 10-15 minutes. This helped save time on our long weekend in Barcelona. The hotel provided a more than adequate breakfast. We even skipped...

This was our second visit to Barcelona, the first time we had stayed in a good hotel off the Ramblas but felt commercialism was to strong. Went further out this time and it was better. 3 stops from Catalunya on Metro. Plenty of bars, coffee shops and restaurants on doorstep. Safe and peaceful neighbourhood. On the recomendation of helpful reception...

This hotel is a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly. I really liked it and would happily go back, despite its flaws.
THE GOOD
Firstly its staff are a credit to the hotel. They are wonderful and very professional. They recommended the top floor to us as they have balconies. If you can get 721 it has...
