This hotel is not in the slightest bit modern- more 70s style, except for the bathroom which was a bit newer. My room was noisy. Never been to a hotel with internal rooms before. The room we had the first night had a tiny frosted internal window, and was very claustrophobic. We switched rooms to one with an equally tiny window but at least this looked outside. When we settled in the new room i realised i had left my sandals in the first room.... more

I really enjoyed the stay at Moderno because it is just 15 mts from the famous La Ramblas. Though I was very busy attending GSM congress, I could explore the main areas of Barcelona because of the location of this hotel. It is just 4 mins walk from the metro station. more
