“It has disappeared”

I live nearby and have noted that the Veracruz has been demolished. There is now a large hole which, I guess, will be the underground car park for whatever comes next. More

An AWFUL experience which the manager refused to take responsibility for. It rained for a couple of hours, sure, but a DELUGE of water poured into our rooms through the light fittings!. The whole room was awash within 20 minutes, the elctric system was crackling, and we had to get up (we had gone to bed) and evacuate. The staff... More

The Veracruz is the "sister" to hotel Capri, directly across the street, 2 blocks away from the Mediterranean. They serve a great breakfast every morning, there is a lovely pool, rooms are air conditioned and have a safe deposit box and minibar. The place is extremely clean and quaint. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. More
