As a single lady traveller I stayed 3 nights here (25-28 April 2013). Only to echo what has been said before, you are warmly welcomed, given very helpful advice and Norma's muesli is delicious. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. I had a room 3 with a bathroom. If you a big people or have lots of luggage or... More

I flew into Madrid to visit my daughter whom I wasn't going to meet up with till the next day. Abracadabra Is well situated to have easy access on foot to the city and just minutes from major attractions such as the Royal Palace. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Norma who in inspite of knowing little English, mapped... More

WeI had a lovely stay with Eduardo and Norma at Abracadabra B&B to close out my trip through Spain last week. As a first time visitor to the city, I was interested both in checking out the famous sites and activities and in experiencing the delights of Madrid's nightlife. This B&B is perfectly situated for both. All of the key... More

Everything other reviewers say is true - great hosts, location, decoration, value etc. It was cool at night so we kept the windows closed - might be very noisy in summer if you needed to open them (there was a fan but I don't think air con). Very nice bathrooms never in use when I needed one.

Stayed for along weekend in Madrid to practice our Spanish. The hosts are really nice people, his English is very good and on arrival gave us a map and explained where everything was in relation to the B&B. Breakfasts are amazing, and really stocked up on energy for the mornings walking. Rooms are very comfortable and the whole place shows... More

Abracadabra B&B is the "parent" hostal to Artistic B&B. Literally: Eduardo and Norma are the parents of Paola, the owner with Rodolfo of the latter hostal. There is palpable continuity in the two places: similar styles, similar tastes, similar heart-warming welcomes etc. We had originally planned a two-day stay at the Artistic, then decided to extend the stay to three... I was there for a few days in September of 2012. The place is nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was great, I especially enjoyed the little toasted cheese sandwiches. The location is very convenient, close to most places of interest like the Royal Palace or Plaza Mayor and many great restaurants. The best of Abracadabra are Norma and Eduardo,... More

My partner and I stayed here between 10.02.13 - 13.02.13 and we stayed in room 7. The room was large with big floor-length windows and honestly the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. Fantastic service from Eduardo and Norma, very helpful. Bathrooms kept spotlessly clean. Nothing bad to say at all! Would visit again.

I stayed with my fiance 3 weeks ago in this charm and cozy b&b. The location was marvelous, the hosts were great, the breakfast a lot to start walking the day, and the room with shared bathroom beautiful and quiet. The shared bathrooms always clean and the atmosphere with the other guests were very comfortable at breakfast. You don't have... More
