Been here a couple of times now when travelling for business and was never dissappointed about the room or location. Rooms are spacious and well equiped. Always have been helped very well at the reception desk. If one remark, it would be the breakfast which is good but could be better. More

Just two short blocks from Plaza de Espana and Julia Travel, this place was an ideal location to explore Madrid, but not be in the crazy center of town. The hop on off bus stopped 1/2 block from our front door. Room was large, very well appointed and had a nice european flair. Marble bath was clean and well appointed,... More

A fairly old property well located nearby a subway station in Madrid. One could expect better from a Mercure. The bathroom plug for the shaver in the bathroom did not work. I informed the housekeeping staff. Yet, the following day, nothing changed. But the rooms are quiet and clean. Breakfast was good but expensive for what it is. More

old style hotel, the furnitures and equipments are a bit dated except the flat screen TV . Otherwise spacious room, very clean with a real good bed, and good insulation from the hotel corridor, probably due to the quite long hallway in the room, wich, in my opinion, is a benefit for quietness. Staff efficient and ready to help. I... More

I found this hotel below Mercure standards. The building and the furniture are old. I was surprised by the fact that it was cheaper than an Ibis-Madrid. But when we arrived I understood why. It was an OK place to stay in.Our room had a balcony which was nice. Also the location of the hotel was very central, which is... More

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel for a city trip to Madrid. I have to say that offers accomodation at a central location (within walking range of all of central Madrid and close to the Plaza de España metro station) at a competitive price. However, the rooms were very old, dusty, and a bad smell seemed to be ever-present. It... More

I always stay in this hotel with my family whenever we visit Madrid, we stayed there over 10 times in the past 10 years. The location is the best and the staff are wonderful and attentive. Its a shame the hotel is getting somewhat out of shape though, the rooms clearly need immidiate renovations. More
