The reception is small but modern and it is only when confronted with the one lift and 20 teenagers ahead that one gets the idea why this is a 2 star. Best to get some excercise and head for the stairs. The room is adequate and clean but there is a sense of the 1930s about it and the ensuite... More

We stayed in this hotel for a very short time, only one night, because we had just to spend a night in Madrid between our flights. Arrived late and left the hotel early in the morning. We chose this accommodation due its convenient location right in the city center and close to Plaza Cibeles, from where buses run to the... More

The hotel was pretty nice. The location was great! The hop on hop off bus stop is just a short walk away! The hotel is fairly nice, although some things look worn out ( stairs clearly worn by traffic, some chippy paint , etc.) We had a little balcony looking out over the side street that I thought was pretty... Excellent location ...close to everything in Madrid.....very large rooms with all basic needs......i would rate it a 3 star not 2 as it says....only complaint was that all the receptionists have a big difficulty to smile and welcome guests. The restaurant people were very nice. I would definitley recommend this hotel More

It is located in the center of the old city area...very close to Puerto del sol...If you are coming from Train station PTA.ATOCHA, then I think Metro will be a better option compared to the bus... Well the location of the Hotel is fantastic, but the Hotel is quite old...they have maintained it OK, but the feel you get is... More

If you wish to stay in a central location and are prepared to sacrifice a bit of comfort and all the frills then this is the hotel for you! Very basic, cleanish but tired rooms and a bit noisy - only due to the excellent location very close to the main squares etc. All in all a great base to... More

For people who choose a budget and central hotel to visit the most important parts of the city. The continental breakfast is very good. More

This is a hotel who treats people like royalty! The first thing we loved about it was the location: we walked to everything and although we are sensitive to noise, we could not hear any traffic noise until we stepped outside! Second, the free breakfast was awesome! Although Europe is knows for its "coffee and a pastry" breakfast habit, this... More
