- Jardin De Recoletos Madrid

Stayed there in mid-January 2012. The hotel fully lived up to my expectations: efficient, clean and very well located.
In fact, couldn’t find anything to complain about. Breakfast was well varied, coffee delicious. Free wi-fi in the room was a nice and unexpected bonus (get login info from the reception). The bed was very firm (though this doesn’t have to...

I stayed in the Jardin de Recoletos mid December 2011 due to Tripadvisor contributions. Every single person is amazed by this hotel. Well, I am not amazed. I am happy with the hotel. Yes, it is a quiet hotel which is great. I am unimpressed with the staff. They did what they needed to do. check in and give keys....

Dear Traveljoost,
Many thanks for the time you spent writting your opinions at Trip Advisor.

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay. The room was very large and exceptionally clean. We had a garden room and there was no street/city noise, however, there was a bit from the adjoining rooms. The staff were wonderful. The free minibar was a nice touch and having a kitchenette was great. We plan to make this our...

We chose this hotel for a 2 night stay from reading reviews on Tripadvisor. It certainly lived up to the hype and did proved to be a little gem (or "a hidden jewel" as another reviewer said), tucked away in a quiet street not far from Puerta de Alcalá and Retiro park and the metro station.
The lobby is beautifully...

We were in Madrid for four days on our way to a conference in Almeria and found this hotel on Trip Advisor. It was everything I want in an urban hotel, Quiet, in fact amazingly so because our room (302) looked out on the hotel garden plus there was practically no street noise anywhere in the hotel since it is...

The room was quite large and well-equipped. It even included a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave oven and induction cooking set. LCD TV set. Bed was quite large and comfortable. Relatively quiet room for Madrid. Nice location in the famous Salamanca area. Close to metro station "Retiro" (5 minutes walk), museum Le Prado, Parque del Retiro, etc.. Breaksfast was...

We had 2 great rooms at their top floor and we were very glad with our choice. The rooms are big, have a small kitchen and we had a beautiful terrace where we could seat and enjoy the end of the evening.
The location was great and we had everything nearby, restaurants, shops, parks, and taxis are easy to find...

I had to check the room rate once we checked in as this hotel was way above our expectations for the money. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent room with kitchenette and lounge furniture, and a wonderful courtyard where we ate a very good meal.
The location is in the modern shopping part of Madrid, some distance from the old town...

Could not fault this hotel for comfort, location or service. Situated in the trendy and relaxed Salamanca district, down a quiet side street and only 5 mins walk to the beautiful Retiro park, and metro stop, it gave us the best of both worlds as we were only 3 stops (or a pleasant 20min walk) from Sol and the noise...
