stayed at senator espana for 3N on a conference trip in jan 12. perhaps due to the discounted(?) rate i was given a room facing the very small inner yard - i.e. no proper windows. so it was pretty dark all the time, quite a disappointment. however, the heating worked well (january) and there was hot water in the shower....

Great location in the heart of Madrid. Facilities like breakfast and the public area are not on a level you would expect. Free wifi facility does not work at all. Rooms are fine, spacious and plenty of ammenities!

The hotel has a great location (very close to the subway and generally is situated in the heart of Madrid). The room where very spacious, clean and well furnished.
