Excellent location - don't let comments of the seedy area put you off. Yes the area is seedy but we (a group of ladies) felt very safe. Very clean rooms, good showers , lovely breakfasts and very helpful staff. We could walk to all the main attractions but the metro station is just round the corner if you need it.... More

We really weren't expecting too much from this hotel as it was ons good position and we got it fairly cheaply.......although it was near the gay area and a little seedy...we really loved our stay...probably not great location for a family with young kids but otherwise should be no issue for any travelers....we felt very safe at all times. Staff... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel during our holiday. The hotel staff was quite helpful and let us keep our bags at the hotel after checkout as we had a late night flight. The room was clean and confortable and the bathroom was spacious with a big bathtub as well. The lobby is quite cosy and there is also... More

Definitely the location is a great asset of this hotel. I love the decoration, inspired on the traditional construction materials used in the Canary Islands. The premises looked clean to me though I found a bug strolling over my bed. Cons: - though the location is awesome, prostitutes wander within 100 feet from the hotel. Not a bad deal as... More

Excellent hotel for a nice short break away. Hotel is conveniently located a minutes walk from the main street of Gran Via and was very easy to find. Upon arrival we were quickly checked in and allocated our room without any fuss. The room was clean and well presented and the housekeeping service waited until we had gone out for... More

Clean hotel on sketchy block. Good sized room and bathroom. That's all the good. Hard pillows like flat blocks of cement. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly, helpful or unhelpful, but just sort of there if you needed them. Thin walls let us hear neighbors noise including snoring all night. There is heat/air which does not work at all. Not... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nites in mid April, 2013. We were given a small but remodeled, comfortable and very clean room with great airconditioning which we controlled! The room was supplied with a mini fridge, a safe & hairdryer. When we asked for hot water to make some tea, the staff immediately brought up a hot pot... More

Had a wonderful 2 night stay in this hotel, good location close to the Gran Via but quiet. Clean, well maintained and the staff were very helpful, polite and efficient. We would stay here again in a heart beat and may do if we're ever back in Madrid. Highly recommend!

Very well located, just a few steps from Gran Via. Spacious rooms and fair breakfast. The staff was usually friendly. Didn't appreciate that, despite the "Do not disturb" sign, services called the room wondering if we wanted the room to be cleaned (probably some housekeeping stress...)

I've been there in March for a weekend, the hotel is located in a nice area. Unfortunately the staff was not very client oriented and whenever I was speaking English to them they replied in Spanish! Ok that's a Spanish issue, not specifically of this hotel. However we got out of our room at 9am, we returned at 15:30 and... More
