The best about this hostal is the central location, two minutes from Gran Via. The room wasn´t very big but was confortable and we had clean towels every day. The walls were thin and we could hear everything in the others rooms and hall. More

Just spent 3 nights here and feel it's necessary to say that previous reviews of here are not accurate. The owners were very friendly and considering I don't speak Spanish we were able to have some brief conversations. Room was always clean and it was obvious that the owners took pride in the place. The towels might not be the... More

It was my BIGGEST mistake while in Spain! La Fontana was found on dirty side-street, close to Gran Via. Single room was like a grave - both by appearance and by temperature. Receptionist told me in broken English that heater should switch on automatically, but nothing like this happened. Blankets seemed taken from local prison - they were so old... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hostal Fontana for 3 nights at the beginning of October. The hostal is on the first floor of the building, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They helped us book our return taxi back to the airport and let my husband borrow their iron. The room was small but clean,... More

I'm sure you're exaggerating here's not as bad as it seems, never forget that we're talking about people who do their job very seriously, not if you were looking for slaves, I'm already there. In this hostel CLEANING every day is the best products on the market, I think it is unlikely that the habits are Sicilian, with what I... More

After the reading the reviews i was a bti aprehensive on what to expect. The hostal was easy to find and we were greeted with a friendly, English speaking member of staff. Our rooms were small but equipped with everthing you would expect from a hostal. The sheets were changed everyday and the air conditioning was a god-send. There was... More
