Considering that the location is excellent, the internet is included and they offer a great breakfast that is included, the value is there. However, I have the same complaints as Monicogirl's review. Just returned from this hotel. I would say there were some great aspects but some drawbacks. First the location is super. Near the PalaceReal and Opera metro..within walking distance to PlazaMayor. A real surprise in such a big city! The staff are very eager to please in any way they can, including tips for exciting things to do. As a boutique hotel the rooms were on the small side but nevertheless comfortable and the bathroom was a good size (best shower in 2 weeks). It was situated 10 minutes from Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Staff were very helpful and arranged taxi to airport despite heavy demand caused by Metro strike. more
