I could write 3 pages in between : the bad service (attitude of the staff, poor education, not even good morning...) the poor quality of the rooms equipment, it is supposed to be a "high tech hhotel", they are 8 channels in spanish and 2 in german, the rest of the world of course does not exist, the hallways are... Stayed here in early Sept 2011 as a solo female (mid-40's) traveler. Location was pretty central. I was able to walk everywhere. Didn't take the public transport. I took a day tour to Toledo, which was very good. The breakfast and room it was served in was good. Always had yogurt, eggs, cured meats, cereal, good coffee, etc. The staff... More

I highly recommend this hotel for the ones who want to explore Madrid. The best places, the best attractions of the city are close to the hotel. But not only the location makes the hotel a good choice, the personnel is smiling and they try to give you tips for your stay. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's a... More

It is billed as a 4 star however it does not even measure up to a 2 star. It is dirty, smelly, with a dis respectable staff. It is not suitable for travelers who need a clean, welcoming, place to stay. we requested early check in, higher floor, and non smoking. We left rather then submit to their "extra charge... More

I don't know how business people can stand staying in this business type hotel with a computer in every room. It is just to dark to do any work, even with all the lights on and for that reason I would never stay there again. You can't even read a book. Little desk room because tv was also on desk.... More

Do not stay at this Hotel, the room we had was stinking of smoke, and was poorly lit .Even when all the lights were on during the day it still was very dark(maybe this was to disguise the dirt of the room and the damp patch on the ceiling). The hotel layout was the worst i have ever seen and lacked any... Made a reservation at this hotel for 3 nights in march for spring break.. Location during the day was good. At night location was bad. Had to leave windows open in march since the rooms were smelling real bad and dark.No proper lights. If they had proper lights you would see all the cracks and patch -ups in the walls.... More

We chose the location for a short couple of days during the Christmas Holidays as we wanted to spend time shopping and relaxing in the center of Madrid. We found the hotel to be in a perfect location, just steps away from Corte Ingles and Puerta del Sol. The hotel's service is minimal; there is a long staircase from the... More

I stayed at this hotel two nights ago and discovered today that somehow my personal email address database was accessed during my stay here, and spam email was sent to everyone on my database. This hotel markets itself as a "high-tech" hotel with laptop computers in each room. I used my in-room computer to access my emails. Sometime during my... More

I have just spent 2 nights in this hotel and found no fault at all with it. However, I was dismayed on arrival to find that I would have to climb up 14 steps with baggage and crutch to get to reception. Then another dozen steps to get to the lifts. No one offered to help me. If you are... More
