Geographically, you couldn't find a better place to be based in Madrid - walking distance to many key spots (Prado & much more) and an easy stroll to the metro (at least once you've located tiny Calle Pozo in downtown Madrid's maze of one-way streets). Once we got our keys (see below) access to the hotel at night was good,... More

The El Pasaje is a couple of blocks from Puerta Del Sol. Many restaurants and wine bars very near. We were on the 3rd fl overlooking the narrow street. The first night we were exhausted so slept through the noise from the street. The 2nd night we awake most of the night due to the noise from the bars on... More

Nice little hotel right in the centre of Madrid, many little bars all around, room was a little on the small side but was clean and tidy. Room didn't get a view but room was nice a quiet. breakfast was good, nice tomato/oil paste on crispy bread, staff were kept busy cleaning up tables, and replacing food, toasting bread etc.

Me & my wife stayed here in August 2012 for 3 nights, we booked very late and got a really good price. Hotel is very nicely decorated and furnished, and rooms have great air con, tv (no english channels), and a wall radio (which was great), also have a small drinks fridge which is really handy. We also got a... More

The location is really really perfect to visit the city and enjoy the night-life, however without being disturbed by noise. The (included) breakfast in the near cafe is good: it is not a real continental breakfast, but more a Spanish one with bread and fresh tomato / olive oil, a lot of fruits, yoghourt and croissants. The reception is not... More

I spent there 4 days with my boyfriend. Everything was perfect. The room was small but really nice new powerful shower and helpful staff. Breakfast is served in another hotel. Very good position to visit the city. Plenty of nice restaurants and bar around..The area is a bit noisy during the night. i ll go back.

Given the low price (we booked through Agoda) and the central location, we were very worried that we'd spend four days in a downtrodden hostel. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spotless with plenty of hot water. The fourth floor rooms get almost no street noise. The most... More
