Wonderful architecture in the sassi of Matera, well placed with excellent view of the sassi. The rooms are spacious and nice, but breakfast is basic nd the thaerme are not very spacious but good. The only bothering thing is that the level of cloron in the swimming pool is too high causing alergical reactions.

The property is unique. The thermae services are the attraction with extra cost but are adult only. We stayed one night. Breakfast was very nice, the food was fresh. The family room was comfortable but the beds were typical of Italian accommodations (small and hard). Parking is an extra cost as well.

We stayed there for 2 nights (rm 12 best view) and loved it..the staff, especially Angela, was so helpful from taking out bags up to the room, to recommending what to do.
