“extremely small rooms and no heating system”

This hotel was the only bad experience we had in Rome. The rooms were extremely small and literally there was no space for anything so you can not stand anywhere in the room, the whole space was filled with beds. No hot water in the wash basin. No heating system. breakfast terrible and disgusting as it was prices 5-6 euros... More

Great choice for your Salerno, Amalfi Coast or Capri experience. This hotel is in a great location. Steps from the train station, steps from the best shopping and restaurants, and easy access to the port for exploring the Amalfi/Sorrento Penninsula. The hotel has a great lobby and common area. This is a basic hotel. If thats what you're expecting its a great place to stay. We got off the train and tried the Hotel Plaza first which was full then tried this place. Just back from staying in The Hotel Montestella in Salerno. The hotel was conveniently located, very central but definately basic.
