Not so much a hotel, more like staying with a family, without the distraction of dealing with the family! Very inexpensive for the area, and located right in the middle of everything, with a Metro station just a few feet away and lots of restaurants all around. There are only three rooms, we were in number 3 which contains a... More

My only complaint about our stay was a mix up when we first arrived, to find that our room had been given to someone else. Luckily, we had an Italian friend with us who was able to sort it all out,i'm not sure how easy it would have been to resolve without him. As it happened they were able to... More

This hotel was such an amazing choice for us - I loved it and would return to the same place next time we are in Rome. It's not a hotel at all - it's really an apartment, which made me feel like I was actually living in Rome (instead of being a tourist). The apartment is small and has a... More

The B & B is perfect situated minutes away from Spanish stairs and Fontana di Trevi and many of the other interesting sites. The room is clean, the breakfast is good and you eat in your room. Overall very good value.

La Casa del Capitano is a great place to stay in Rome. It is in a nice area near Villa Borghese and the Spanish Steps. Sandra (the owner) brings a delicious and beautifully prepared breakfast to your room. Great coffee! From our room there was also access to a kitchen. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were made... More

The hotel is next to a Metro station and not too far from the old area of Rome. The room is actually a small apartment. Breakfast is brought to your room and was very tasty. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The room overlooks a square which can be noisy at night, but no problem for us. Be aware that... More

My wife and took at 2 week tour through Italy and France last month, and our first stop was three days in Rome. I did a ton of research and chose this B&B based on the location, reviews, and reasonable price. We were not disappointed! Once we got our bearings in the city, we realized what a wonderful location we... More
