Got to the hotel and had to wait for the owner to come out 10 minutes later and was told we had to walk 10 minutes to the owners secondary hotel as thier wasnt any room left on Cicerone 28 bed and breakfast! Went to Rome just a few days ago and stayed for 4 nights. Location was really good as it was near to the Vatican. Towards the right is the Vatican City, and the left all the other attractions along Via Del Corso (nearest being the Popolo, Spanish Steps etc). Didn't have to use the taxi, etc to go to places.... Cicerone B&B is rather inexpensive taken central location into consideration, but..... .... stating that breakfast was included and then serving milk (=cappucino) and a dry piece of bread (and nothing more!) is a joke. The cleanliness of the room and every other area in the B&B, the positive, welcoming and warm attitude of the staff and its excellent location, make this B&B an ideal and highly recommendable spot for travellers on a budget. The Vatican is about a 10 min. walk, and you can reach la Fontana di Trevi in about 20 minutes. Excellent!

The BB Cicerone , 28 is a BB very organized and welcoming, nice bathroom too, with delicious breackfast coffee in the room and the owner very helpful! Furthermore it is close to everything, from Castel, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon ...Thanks Michelle!

The room was stinking with stange smell. The location is excellent. Service was nice. The room was clean and breakfast was poor.

We've stayed for three weeks and it we had the most pleasant time in this hotel. Excellent service, excellent facilities, it's well connected, buses, subway, within walking distance of the Vatican. The staff is warm and welcoming, it's like being home. I highly recommend it.

Positives are location, spacious room, well appointed, faced quiet interior courtyard. The major negative and reason I can't recommend this B&B was a terrible smell in the bathroom, possibly an issue with the drains/sewer, but made the trip to the bathroom dreadful.
