I used to stay in Jolly Hotels all of the time when travelling to Italy about ten years ago, I was always fairly impressed. Since then though I believe NH has taken over. I was a little dissapointed with the Midas. Overall the condition of the hotel was tired and is need of renovation. There was no bar or gym... More

We hesitated before the resrvation, since the reviews were no very high. However, a good price and the name NH convinced us. We found excelent rooms, very comfortable large beds great breakfast and nice atmosphere. They could enlarge the reception staff and try to teach the receptionist how to smile, but the total was a good deal and we would... More

My first visit to Rome, so perhaps the behavior of this hotel staff is the norm for Rome- no idea. The disorganization and confusing behavior of the staff of this hotel was almost comical at times. It was if they actually didn't work there and seemed to know nothing about what amenities the hotel had. The hotel restaurant often had... More

I bought a package with specialtours, beautiful package italia, in which selected the hotels were superior, and in Rome in staying at the NH MIDAS roon 507 ,in which rooms are excellent very good bathrooms and staff was attentive, but as the hotel is undergoing a makeover and there are still rooms that were not reformed, I evaluated here was... Actually the as a conference hotel is was ok. A really bad point is there is not bar and as the hotel is far out of town it did not help the with the social side of the conference. My room was very clean and have no complaints in that department apart from the fact is was very warm, but... More

I was very pleased with this 4 star hotel its a bit off the beaten track and the hotel is large but the renovated rooms on the 4th floor are second to none, some a little bit small though was very happy with mine nice modern bathroom breakfast excellent, and nice cappuccino, but you have to ask. if you have... I was attending a 4-day conference, i.e. we would spend the whole day in the hotel and went to the town every evening. As the hotel is on the outskirts of the town, we had to take a taxi every evening. The first evening i was trying to take the metro and then bus to the hotel - would wait... More

It was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. First and foremost , we found our money stolen, jewellery stolen, suitcases opened, and clothes scattered everywhere. This happened 2 times and the hotel claimed that had nothing to do with that(while we knew that maids and generally staff were the only people who were able to access to the rooms).... More

“My wife and I stayed at the NH Midas with a tour group at the end of a hectic 10-day tour of Italy. The NH Midas was a welcome respite after our final day on the tour. Sure, location of the hotel is not very close to all of Rome’s innumerable sites, but if you want a hotel that’s close... More

Miss Diane, I think I've lost my hat. It is a medium priced hotel, food is 'rural -service is rustic' although a bit of a drive from the city centre, a real eye opener. On one trip the cab driver literally clipped every car, what do you when this happens, we'll obviously the best thing to do is to stop... More
