Very nice hotel. Location was very central, you could walk to almost every sight. Breakfast was included, and it was also very nice. Staff at the front desk was helpful. The room was clean, and we were given an upgrade to a king bed when we checked in. I would definitely stay here again. more

I booked the Starhotel Metropole about a month before travelling. Having provided email, telephone and mobile contact information you would have thought the least they could do was to advise me that they had overbooked their hotel and I was being moved to an alternative. This hotel is very close to most interesting sightseeing, shopping districts and Rome's main train and subway station (Roma Termini). Hotel staff are friendly and quick to respond to your needs.
