Chose this hotel based on reviews on TA and it was a very good choice indeed. Staff were very friendly and hotel rooms were excellent. more

The hotel is abt 15mins walk from Termini, but not in the city centre - we had to walk quite some time back in the evenings, and since the metro network isn't very spread out, my wife did get quite tired! The price was accordingly good. Also, we reached late evening and had a morning train 3 days later -... more

We booked this hotel as the ratings were high (despite reading a few dodgy reviews). The room we were given was a superior room (apparently) but was dismal! The bathroom smelt of urine, the Jacuzzi bath didn't work, the shower didn't work properly, the TV didn't have any English channels (and they couldn't figure out how to get them). When... more

I got an under street level room which was really nice, and which came with a nice balcony. Pity that it was winter and that there was a leaking hose, which made the balcony a little too cold and damp to use. Nevertheless, it was a nice addition to the room which was charming already. Hotel looked lush and warm,... more

Really close to the Termini it is very easy to get to, we found the hotel pretty good really. The rooms are a little small - but how much time do you spend in your room in Rome? Our only complaint was that the room was really hot, even with the aircon on - we actually slept with the windows... more

It is located on 'the other side" of Rome . . . not really the side where you want to stay. After return home we heard it was in a bad area of Rome. It is walking distance from the train station and the metro which is a plus. We felt safe to walk to and from the hotel to... more

We just returned from our trip to Rome and Pompeii, during which time we stayed at this hotel. I would say it was a good hotel. The rooms are sized to fit you and your bags, and not much else, but we were comfortable. While we didn't eat more than one breakfast at the hotel, we did get there early... more

Two separate stays for a total of 7 nights. The hotel was pretty good overall, decent room, clean bathroom, not too noisy, and the breakfast was excellent. HOWEVER....Unless you take a shower/bath between 7am and 8:30am or in the afternoon don't expect hot water. I think they turn off the water heater at night and when they do turn it... more

The Hotel Art Deco was such a lovely base for us during our five-day visit to Rome. Clean and tidy, the rooms were of a decent size and the breakfast was a really good start to the day (but I agree with the previous reviews - get down early for the best selection!) It was quite close to the Termini... more
