5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2013 NEW

We stayed in May to celebrate my 30th birthday and the hotel met our expectations... and then exceeded them. First and most importantly, the location is amazing. It's a five minute walk from the colosseum (and therefore the metro) and although relatively near a busy junction, it's set back off the road enough that you can't hear the traffic from... More

We thank you for the wonderful review that we have shared with all the staff and we inform that the breakfast has been modified and is now a rich american buffet breakfast that we hope you will have the occasion to test it shortly. Very best regards. More

This hotel is a haven in the heart of Rome. If you want to eat breakfast overlooking the Colosseo, Palatino, Monumento Vittorio Emanuele, and Via del Fori Imperiali--this hotel is for you. The rooms are clean and comfortable--however, you will not be spending a lot of time in them. The staff is very helpful and you have the best location... More

We did not stay at this hotel but went to its rooftop bar on two occasions because we loved it! We were welcomed warmly on both nights by very well presented bar staff, My girlfriend was given a blanket later in the evening when it became cooler which we thought was a really special touch. We had a lovely bottle... More

Perfectly located with great service and reasoanble price. The breakfast food variety was good. THe rooms are clean. I highly recommend this hotel for staying. all major sight seeing places very close to the hotel in a walking distance, but the hotel is nicely located from the main street in a calm area .

If you want to be right next to all things Rome than this is the hotel for you. We both have a interest in archaeology and architecture, the Hotel Forum is perfectly placed to see all the top sites on foot. The rest of the city is easily reached and even a good walk to the Vatican took only 40... More

Anywhere else in the world this would be an average 3* Hotel (and not 4* as advertised). It is ideally positioned, in walking distance of both Coliseum and other major tourist attractions, and thus overall experience OK. Were initially placed in a very very small double room opposite elevator - after requesting to be transferred and received slightly larger room... More

On a rainy Tuesday evening my daughter and I enjoyed two Aperol spritzes each on the lovely roof-top American style bar at this hotel. We have enjoyed this aperitif throughout Italy for approx 7 euros each. Imagine our surprise when the bartender told us our bill for 4 was 60 euros!!! Maybe have just one drink there to relish the... Had a very good experience with this hotel, room 123 was good size very clean, sower was a little small but overall bathroom was good. Views over the Forum from the rooftop restaurant and the American Bar were fantastic, breakfast was just OK, could have been better, but enough to start the day. Staff were helpful ad friendly had no... More

Ideally placed in front of the Imperial Fori and 400 m from the coliseum, this hotel has a great panoramic view from the "American" bar located on its roof. Here stop the good things. I was placed in room 320, a tiny (10sqm?) single room with its unique window opening on the central house atrium (if you can call this... More

The hotel has only 4 single rooms that we rent only in high season and when in Rome it is impossible to find any kind of availability. Guests are always informed about the type of inquiry for a single room. We do not accept any complaints about the cleanliness and quality of service. Our hotel is notoriously attended by important... I spent four nights at this hotel, well located at the edge of Ancient Rome and at one end of the intereting Monti neighborhood. This was roughly my 8th or 9th stay in Rome. I had requested a renovated room with a view of the Forum, on a high floor. I should have checked my confirmation carefully as the room... More

We reply to your review and we thank you for having appreciated the room, the Rooftop bar with magnificent view, the breakfast we serve is a continental one that doesn't include eggs or cheese. We inform that from the month of June the breakfast will change to a new American Buffet breakfast. More
