We stayed for 3 nights mid February. Excellent position, close to station, metro, walking distance to many of the main attractions. Numerous quality restaurants and bars around the corner, which helped in the sleet and the snow! Hotel is well looked after, cleaned daily and staff are friendly. Plenty of choice for a continental breakfast which is available 7.30 til... More

My wife and i visited Rome for her birthday surprise at the end of Jan 2012, we stayed for 3 nights, but only wish we had booked for longer. All of the hotel staff were helpful and polite nothing was to much. The grey haired and wise concierge (Tony) was above & Beyond. full of local knowledge and good places... More

My fiancee and I visited Rome in August 2011 and thought the hotel was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights but could have happily stayed for longer. The concierge (Tony) was extremely helpful and recommended places to eat and sites to see every day. The room size was good and the view of the busy city below was nice. A... More

For us this Hotel was in a perfect location. All the sites could be reached by walking including the Vatican and Castel Sant Angelo. The metro is a few minute walk away if you prefer to ride the subway to the different locations. The rooms are small but very nice and very clean. The best part of this Hotel was the... More

My husband and I visited Roma from December 21 to 27 and stayed at hotel Lirico. The hotel was in a fabulous location and it was really easy to find. Our window overlooked the Opera Theater. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable just what we needed for rest after a long day of sight seeing. The staff... More

Stayed in triple room for three nights, and would definitely consider returning to this hotel in case of returning to Rome, mainly because the price is rather good considering the situation of the hotel, next to the Teatro dell'Opera, and a 2 minute walk from metro station. Colosseum is about 25 minutes walking. Room was okay, nothing special but sufficient,... More

My partner and I stayed at the Lirico Hotel for 4 nights (27th to 30th November 2011) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From Fiumicino airport there is a dedicated train service (30 minute journey) to Rome's central Termini station, the hotel is between 5 to 10 minutes' walk from there. Incidentally the two Metro lines intersect outside Termini station too,... More

Visited Rome for the first time with my family... Quick (2 days) and budget conscious trip. Small, clean and well located hotel. Walking distance to Termini Station and major attractions. Coming from the US, the room size is definitely a shock. There's little space to move around in the room but comfortable nevertheless. Breakfast can get a little crowded as... More
