Hotel Duc d'Alba is located very conveniently near the Cavour Metro station in the Monti neighborhood. We visit Rome every year and have never before stayed in this charming old section of Rome not far from the Forum. The neighborhood is home to many charming shops and small restaurants and a bit off of the beaten path even though it... More

Excellent location. Hotel clean, clear, neat, quiet in the extreme. New beds, comfortable and soft. Sheets of high quality, as well as towels. Delightful reception with staff always cheerful, courteous and professional. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. And what about the porch? I am jealous of not being able to have an equal in Brazil :o) I have nothing to say... More

Stayed here last winter. The room was very small, hard to open the bathroom door. ALso you can hear everything the neighbors are doing.... Location is close to the Colesium, but aside from that you feel like a local because of the area. For the price and the city, its a fine combo, just would of course want a bit... More

So close to everything! Lots of boutique, quirky shops around every corner. Awesome cafe's and restaurants and set on a cobblestone street with loads of atmosphere! People in the Hotel were great. Very helpful and courteous! Breakfast was nice and is included in the room rate. It was the perfect end to our romantic holiday in Europe. More

We spent two nights at this lovely, small hotel and loved it! The staff was wonderful and warm, the room was quite small but spotless and elegant with a very comfortable bed and fine cotton sheets. Best of all, it was extremely quiet. Amazing, considering that we were only two blocks from the Coliseum. Wonderful breakfast in lovely dining area... More

Friendly welcome upon our check in, used lift to 3rd floor, opening window with shutters overlooking the street. Adequate room size with plasma tv on the wall. Bathroom clean and tidy, small compared to Australian style. The bed, two singles zipped together was firm, but after a days walking and sightseeing it was comfortable enough to crash out and have... My wife and I planned a trip to rome. We were to arrive on Sunday morning and stay at this hotel for several days. The night before we had to leave, my wife got ill and I had to take her to the hospital. She needed to have surgery in a few days. We of course had to cancel our... More

Stayed for 6 days at the hotel. Location is good, near Colliseum and Cavour station, with some eateries around the hotel. Felt clean and safe. Hotel room was clean and staff were very helpful and polite. Had same breakfast for 6 days though. Towels were changed regularly and no issues with the hotel. Walking around the place was no problem,... More

The rooms were good, however, the service could not have been better. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed...treated to a welcome non-alcaholic drink and whatever the request the entire staff tried to make it happen. Super location off the main road. Easy walking distance to train station, Coloseum, Forum and such, Trevi fountain (bit of a stretch... More
