Stayed with my wife for a long weekend at end of October 2011. First night we were situated in a roadside room which was very noisy, but following my complaint, we were moved to a much quieter and very comfortable room. Yes the pool area is nice - albeit with v poor and slow service. The hotel is dated, and the worst Leading Hotels i have ever stayed at. Our room was roadside and v noisy. Cleanliness not top of agenda. Carpets old and manky.Concierge helpful. Aircon iffy and bed linen smelt of old peoples home. More

fast, friendly service from checkin to checkout. Upgrades granted almost always with breakfast staff friendly and courteous. Never noisy. Have a cappuccino ! Villa Borghese right across the street and a 15 minute walk to the top of Via Veneto. Excellent value if you book a couple of weeks ahead. More

A fine, comfortable hotel with courteous and very helpful staff. Our rooms were quiet and spotlessly maintained. The breakfast was excellent and catered for every conceivable taste. We stayed here for 4 nights as a family and we all loved this hotel. In a nice, quiet area but a half hourly courtesy shuttle takes you to the Spanish Steps in the centre in 15 minutes or so. Some people have criticised this but we found as long as you remember to book the return you are fine!... More

the hotel is well located next to Borgese Villa park, and 5-minute cab drive to the city center (Paizza del Spagna and Piazza del Popolo). The hotel has a free shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes, which is an excellent arrangement. i had two connecting rooms which are good for the family.
