We stayed at ISA hotel during late January 2012. The location is great, safe, close to the Vatican, 8 minutes walk from the Metro station. The hotel is very small, standard rooms (euro 110 / night) are very small but this is did not bother me. Breakfast was excellent. THE TV WAS NOT WORKING and took the personnel 2 days... More

I'm actually wildly ambivalent about this hotel. The good: Location, reasonably modern room and bath, very nice terrace for breakfast and cocktails, good breakfast buffet. The bad: Like another reviewer, we could not control the overheating in late December, other than by opening our window 24/7. Worse, there was a sewer-gas smell that the very nice maid finally showed us... More

Two of us stayed there for NYE holidays, we had a reservation for Exclusive Room and were offered one on the second floor (old, small, with mini-sized bath). We chose one on the fifth floor - excellent room with a nice view and OK jaccuzi, but a broken TV which never got repaired. Receptionists were extremely unhelpful and pretended we... More

A group of 5 of us stayed at the Isa Hotel for one night from November 26 to the 27. The lobby of the hotel has been renovated and the hotel seems to be going through renovations. Unfortunately the rooms are old and the ac/heater have not been updated. When we got to the room it felt like a Sauna,... More

Four of us stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of November and had a brilliant time. The decor is beautifully done, both in the rooms and the public areas, buffet breakfast had an amazing choice, location is excellent for sightseeing and the staff are extremely polite and friendly, especially Willy the barman who couldn't do enough... Thank you again and thave a good 2012! Best regards... More

Stayed for 5 nights, the only reason it was for 5 nights is because I mistakenly prepaid. The location of the hotel was pretty good and the breakfast buffet was ok, other than that the hotel front desk staff was not that friendly, the rooms were way to small. The hotel is showing wear and tear, not a 4 star... More

Stayed here together with my fiancee from Thursday to Sunday This was our eight time in Rome together, first time stay at Hotel Isa. The location is very good, especially if you are going to the Vatican and/or shopping on foot. Just a few minutes to the Vatican or Piazza del Popolo. If your brave enough to watch a movie... More

I have stayed in many 4 star hotels and this would be the worst room I have had. On entering the hotel its amazing until I saw my room. It was old and tired. The bed was just a mattress on top of a bit of wood who knows. Quality of the linen and towels was terrible. In the morning... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and I would recommend it as a tourist hotel. It is close to the vatican and other major tourist sites in a relatively quite are (for Rome that is). The hotel has a nice roof restaurant and bar with plenty of seating. The room was spacious and well set out with... More
