We expected a better hotel based on the Advisor reviews. The first problem - we were on the fourth floor (that's five from the street level) and had to carry 40# suitcases up the steps (120 - I counted them) ourselves. No elevator and no assistance. The hotel is placed right in the perfect location. The Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Thermi etc all easily walkable and those delightful and much lower priced restaurants in Trastevere just 5 or 10 minutes walk.
