The location of this hotel is excellent - just a minute walk to the coliseum. About 5-8 min. walk to Metro. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small, but are furnished very nicely and are very clean and have great decor. There is wifi, but it works only in the lobby. There is no lift, so rooms on the first...

Hotel is wonderfully decorated and clean. Roberto the Manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. We also stayed on the top floor with private terrace jacuzzi room and shower. Room service offered. No lifts. Great location, within walking distance to Colosseum, forum and historical sites. There are lots of great restaurants, all within walking distance. A great experience for our first...

A great 3 star experience. Meaning rooms were clean but small. Staff was courteous but mostly left you alone. Good location within walking distance to coliseum, forum, and ancient downtown (e.g., pantheon). Good choice for somebody that doesn't need a lot of help/recommendations for things to do from staff but wants a good location for cheap-er price.
Wifi was great...

We arrived at the hotel Celio, tired and hot after traveling by train from northern Italy. The man at the reception desk was brusque and indifferent. He did not give us his name. Right away things did not get off to a good start. He yelled at my son for putting his backpack on the couch beside him. Fair enough,...

We stayed at the Celio Hotel for two days when we first arrived in Italy and it was very quiet and comfortable. We planned this trip around Karen Brown's Italy guidebook and she was spot on with her recommendation of this hotel. Roberto and his staff were very helpful and his charming little boy was very sweet. Roberto helped us...

We just got back from Rome and a cruise. We stayed at Hotel Celio both before and after our cruise for a couple of nights. We thought the decor of our room and the bathroom was really nice. The hotel staff were very nice and supremely helpful. They arranged cars to and from the airport, recommended restaurants, and advised on...
